The Maquoketa Valley Community School District Board is requesting a proposal to design, supply, and complete installation of playground equipment replacing an existing playground south of the elementary school building and north of the tennis courts at Maquoketa Valley Earlville Elementary School located at 226 Prospect, Earlville, Iowa 52041. Note that this quote must be under the $196,000.00 Quote Threshold, which must include Materials, Shipping, Labor, Installation and all project costs Inquiries regarding the scope of services described or the requirements this invitation for quote are to be

Office 563-922-2091 The request must contain the contractor's name, contact person, address, phone number and email. Questions are allowed between (April 1, 2023 - April 21, 2023). The district will provide responses to those questions deemed appropriate to all vendors. The school district reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and to accept the quote deemed to be in the best interest of the school district in its sole and absolute discretion. The Contractor shall provide the following playground equipment:
a. Playground structure systems with multiple activities, slides, ladder features, etc.
b. Handicapped accessible merry-go-round
c. At least two (2) pieces of auxiliary equipment as depicted on the right side of the first rendering
and under the canopy shown following this scope of work section.
d. Poured Rubber Safety Surface 20' x 20' in the shelter area and approximately 32' x 67' in the
larger playground area.
e. Conceptual renderings of the desired playground system follow. Please note substitutions,
value engineering, and deviations will only be considered after quotes are received and the
contract has been awarded. Please complete a bid only based on the equipment illustrated.
