The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder maximum Bid price. Bid bond shall be issued by a surety company licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance to do business in Texas and to issue said bond. The bid bond must be signed by an authorized representative of the surety and the representative must be licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance. The Project includes the following Work: Sandblasting and recoating of existing 200,000-, 300,000-, and 65,000-gallon elevated storage tanks, within containment, and other improvements, including ladders, water level indicators, electrical lighting, wiring, and miscellaneous steel repairs. a. Remove and replace exterior ladder. b. Remove and replace interior ladders (San Jacinto EST). c. Remove and replace conduit and wiring to top of tank and relocate onto standoffs adjacent to ladder (Monta EST). d. Regrout base plates at tank foundation (Palmer EST). e. Remove and replace nuts and weld to existing anchor bolts. f. Add expansion joint to riser pipe (San Jacinto EST). g. Remove and replace water level indicator and sample port. h. Replace overflow pipe and install new weir box (San Jacinto EST). i. Install a new pressure manway in the shell (San Jacinto EST). j. Install concrete splash box (San Jacinto EST). k. Replace highly corroded sections of balcony floor. l. Remove existing obstruction light and conduit. m. Replace roof port (Monta EST). n. Drill holes in balcony floor. o. Surface prepare and paint. p. Install new obstruction light on the tank (Monta EST). q. Install new safety climb on all new ladders. r. Replace fall protection on interior wet ladder (Monta EST). s. Caulk interior wet ceiling seams. t. Bundle and fasten all cabling. u. Fill and disinfect tank. v. Perform site cleanup
