THIS NOTICE IS BEING ISSUED TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS SUFFICIENT INTEREST FROM QUALIFIED PRIME CONTRACTORS who are Small Businesses, HUBZone small businesses, Woman owned small business concerns, 8(a) small businesses, or Service disabled veteran-owned small businesses and who intend to submit a bid for this solicitation to allow for a set-aside in one of these programs MUST submit the following by e-mail to CFLAcquisitions@dot.gov or by telefax to 720-963-3360 (Attn: Josephine Helms) for receipt by close of business (2 p.m. local Denver time) on April 18, 2023: (1) A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; (2) A copy of the letter from SBA stating date of HUBZone small business certification or acceptance to the 8(a) small business program. In the case of a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concern, you must provide proof of eligibility (DD form 214 or a letter of adjudication from the Veterans Administration). This information must be provided in order to determine eligibility - DO NOT SEND COPIES OF YOUR SAM PROFILE; (3) Letter from bonding agent stating your firm's capability to bond for a single project of $10 million, and your firm's aggregate bonding capacity; and (4) Provide a list of road construction projects of equal or greater value in which you performed (as the prime contractor) roadway reconstruction, intersection improvements, aggregate trails, concrete curb and gutters, minor grading, aggregate surface course, lime treatment, drainage improvements, concrete pavement, signing, striping, utility relocation, and temporary traffic control. State whether your firm was the prime contract or subcontractor on the project. DO NOT SEND INFORMATION ON PROJECTS THAT DO NOT INCLUDE THE ABOVE WORK. The size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc. Refer to the Code of Federal Regulations 13 CFR 121.103 for information on how the SBA determines affiliation and 13 CFR 121.108 regarding the penalties for misrepresentation of size status. TX FLAP 200(1) Improvements on Jones Street and North Kealy Avenue Project Details: The Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) project will improve the roadways accessing LLELA and the roadways and facilities within LLELA. There are two roadways accessing LLELA that will be improved, Jones Street and North Kealy Avenue. Both roadways will be widened to a 37' wide concrete pavement roadway with bike lanes and curb and gutter on both sides of the roadway. A 10' wide aggregate path will be constructed on the north side of Jones St and on the east side of N Kealy Ave: Principle Work Items: 20401-0000 Roadway excavation 7,600 CUYD 20441-0000 Waste: 6,000 CUYD 21301-0000 Subgrade stabilization (8-inch lime): 14,000 SQYD 21301-0000 Subgrade stabilization (16-inc moisture treatment): 14,000 SQYD 50101-1000 Minor Concrete Pavement, Reinforced, 10-inch depth: 13,700 SQYD 60901-1500 Curb, Concrete, 16-Inch Depth: 5,800 LNFT 61901-2400 Fence, Split Rail, 2 Rail: 5,000 LNFT 64501-0000 Locate Utilities: 1 LPSM Anticipated Schedule: Advertisement: June 2023 Contract Award: October 2023 Notice to Proceed: November 2023 Construction Complete: December 2023 The estimated total cost is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
