Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Road will receive: (1) 90lb. Leveling course of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design 9.5mm including tack coat (2) a 1.5 overlay of Superpave Asphalt design 9.5mm including tack coat. As per PUB 408, tack coat shall be placed below every new layer of asphalt where required, and is included in the placement price of the superpave material being placed. All work is to be performed per latest PUB 408 Specifications including any updates. Pa prevailing wages shall apply. A certified or cashier's check, payable to the order of "Sugarloaf Township", or a satisfactory Bid Bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable corporate surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Owner reserves the right in its discretion to reject any or all Bids or to waive any irregularities, omissions or mistakes in the Bidding process. The successful bidder shall furnish to the Owner a performance bond and payment bond, in the form contained in the Contract Document and executed by a satisfactory surety, each equal to 100% of the total Contract amount. 2023 Welsh Road Paving Project.
