Work elements include demolition and reconstruction of approximately 90,000 SF of existing asphalt apron pavements, New construction of five (5) new asphalt Taxilanes, associated earthwork and grading, drainage improvements, and asphalt pavement marking. An additive bid schedule includes construction of approximately 23,000 SF of new asphalt apron pavement, associated earthwork and grading, drainage improvements, and asphalt pavement marking. All Bid documents shall be submitted in hard copy. Electronic or e-mailed submissions shall be rejected. The Bidder must agree that the requirements and conditions of employment be observed and minimum wage rates, as established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor, or the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, including any appropriate amendments. The contractor shall pay the state or federal prevailing wage rate, whichever is higher, and adhere to the most stringent requirements under this contract.
