The City of Walker will be accepting bids from contractors interested in resurfacing the Department of Public Works Parking Lot Phase 2. Of cold milling: 3,700 sq. yds. Estimated tons: 317 tons, compacted in place Work to commence after 7/1/2023 and to be completed by 11/1/2023. The job will be Monday through Saturday, with no Sunday work. Work must be completed back-to-back days, with a tenday working day notice before construction. The contractor must provide the City of Walker with the approved work schedule ten working days before construction. The City of Walker will do trucking for the milling and retain the millings. The City of Walker will perform casting adjustments of manholes, water boxes, and all other utility structures. The City of Walker will inspect the work. The City of Walker will approve all changes. The contractor will be required to mark/strip parking lots. To submit a proposal, all requirements must be met, and the proposed bid is written on this proposal in the appropriate locations and signed by an authorized representative of the bidder.
