Scope of Work 1. Service and repair all existing electrical systems, components, and appliances in the Nunavut Airports Division Aerodromes within various communities in Nunavut. This will include but not be limited to the Field Electrical Centres, Airfield Lighting (MIRLS) , Air Terminal Buildings, Fire Alarms, Heating Systems, etc. Work may include: i. testing, repairing or replacing electrical wiring and electrical faults which occur from time to time. ii. testing, repairing or replacing lighting, electrical motors and controls, communications wiring, certify and repair fire alarm & suppression systems, clock systems and HVAC systems and controls. iii. repairing faults in electrical appliances and install new appliances. iv. diagnosing faults in electrical systems, components and appliances and identifying repairs required to correct deficiencies. v. obtaining electrical permits. vi. servicing and maintaining specialized electrical and electronic components such as control boards, alarms, sound systems, fuel dispensers and air conditioning. vii. other electrical duties as required.
