Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Des Plaines, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of April 28, 2023, project was awarded to Swallow Construction Corp., awarded amount is $6,253,889.33. In order to be eligible to bid on the project, prospective Bidders must submit the Bidders Intent to Bid form to the City of Des Plaines Public Works and Engineering Department at least 48 hours before the scheduled Bid Opening. The Bidders Intent to Bid form must be submitted to the Department via email at engineering@desplaines.org or fax at 847-391-5619. The project scope includes installation of new water main and service connections, abandonment or removal of old water main pipe, repair and replacement of storm catch basins, replacement of various existing storm and sanitary sewers, street rehabilitation, curb and gutter replacement, driveway apron replacement, miscellaneous sidewalk repairs, regrading of parkways, and miscellaneous landscaping restoration. The Work shall be performed at the following Work Site: Florian Dr (Marshall Dr to Hewitt Dr) Graceland Av (Miner St (US 14) to Ellinwood St) Harvard St (Mt Prospect Rd to Cornell Av) Inner Circle Dr (South End to North End) Joyce Dr (Cordial Dr to Elizabeth Ln) Millers Rd (Beau Dr to Dara James Rd) NO PRE-BID MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR THIS PROJECT.
