Highway 49 Phase 1 The Project consists of lengthening the left turn lane along NC 49 at Roberta Road (SR 1304) by removing the existing left turn lane at the Food Lion entrance and extending Financial Way approximately 250 LF between Kee Lane and the Food Lion entrance. Additional improvements include striping, sidewalks, and storm sewers. The Town of Harrisburg reserves the right to add or delete from the contract quantities. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Submit all questions regarding this project in writi ng to Brian Welch, P.E., questions shall be received until 5 PM on Monday, January 29 th , 2024. Work included: As described in NCDOT QMS, and Supplementary Specifications and other work incidental to this Item. Contractor is to coordinate, and schedule, a pre-construction meeting with the Town of Harrisburg and NCDOT prior to any construction activities. This line item shall include furnishing of adequate temporary restroom facilities for contractors and their subcontractors to use on site. Not to exceed 5% of total bid. B. Payment: Lump Sum price. Compliance with the Town of Harrisburg Outreach Plan and Guidelines For Recruitment And Selection Of Minority Businesses is required on this contract. Stated Goal for MWBE participation is 10%.
