Deadline for Questions Date: April 17, 2023, at 11:00 A.M The area to be sprayed is rectangular shaped, measuring 104 ft by 89 ft with the wall height of 25 ft. This project will involve the ceiling or underside of metal roofing, north, south, and west walls only. There is 8 ft plywood in place around the entire gymnasium at the floor level up to 8 ft. This will stay in place. The Contractor will spray foam from above the plywood wall, starting at the first purlin to the ceiling. The insulation behind the plywood will be left in place below the first purlin. Square footage of project area: North Wall: 104' x 17' = 1,768 sq ft South Wall: 104' x 17' = 1,768 sq ft West End Wall: 89' x 17' = 1,513 sq ft Underside of roof/ceiling: 104' x 89' = 9,256 sq ft Note: Roof is approximately 4 on 12 pitch. This should be taken into account as it will slightly increase square footage of ceiling area. The City of Fairhope is requesting responses to remove vinyl wrapped fiberglass insulation and replace with closed cell spray foam insulation in the gymnasium at the Fairhope Recreation Center located at 803 Greeno Road, Fairhope, Alabama.
