Demolition and site work for a residential development in Frankfort, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Notice is hereby given that Clinton County, State of Indiana, by and through its Board Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, will receive sealed proposals for the demolishing, razing and removal of a structure and site debris located on one (1) site located within Clinton County. Proposals received after such hour will be returned unopened. The structure IS as follows: o The house and garage structure itself, its contents and all debris related to the razing of this structure. o Any loose debris easily accessed located on the entire property Please direct any need for additional information, questions, and/or requests for pre-bid meetings the site for individual contractors to understand the exact scope and extent of the project to Liz Stitzel at 659-6302. The work to be performed and the proposal to be submitted shall include sufficient and proper sums for all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and so forth incidental to and required for the construction of the facilities. Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the Project, the name and address of Bidder. All proposals must be submitted on the proposal forms as identified in the Contract Documents and Specifications. Approved performance and payment bonds guaranteeing faithful and proper performance of the work and materials, to be executed by an acceptable surety company, will be required of the Contractor at the time he executes his contract. The bond will be in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price and must be in full force and effect throughout the term of the Construction Contract plus a period of twelve (12) months from the date of substantial completion. The Owner reserves the right to reject any proposal, or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or proposals, or to make such combination of proposals as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any proposal may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of proposals or authorized postponement thereof. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder, unless circumstances deemed by the Board of Commissioners, through one of the exceptions listed per Indiana Code allows deviation. The Commissioners reserve the right to accept a bid, reject all bids, extend the bidding timeframe or reject a bid for any reason. All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the Project throughout. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on proposal forms included in the Specifications. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Project site(s) and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents and Specifications. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its Bid.
