The Town is specifically requesting a variety of different styles of LED pole decorations. These styles are to be repeated throughout the installation. The Town does not desire any decorations which include tinsel. An additional bid for coordinating street pole banners (including hardware and installation) is also requested. The contractor shall provide a brief description and picture of the proposed decorations. The Town will "pick and choose" the decorations it wants based on the Town's priorities and budget constraints. Therefore, individual pricing for each item is necessary. The contractor will provide, at minimum, forty-three (43) LED street pole decorations along Kingsley Avenue (from the St. Johns River west to Bellair BLVD) and Park Avenue (US 17 from Wells Rd. south to Holly Point Rd.). Contractor shall provide, at minimum, four (4) different styles/items. It is important to note that most poles do have electrical outlets and that all utility poles are owned by Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA). The Town shall be responsible for installation of new electrical outlets on poles without existing connections. The contractor shall: A. Provide decorations which are designed, constructed, and installed to withstand adverse weather conditions such as wind and rain and in all ways professional in appearance and in fact. B. Provide decorations of high quality between 5' and 8' in height. They should depict things such as wreaths, candles, poinsettias, stockings, stars, candy canes, ornaments, etc. C. Test all decorations prior to delivery: add-on decorations should be ready and available. The Selected Bidder shall have an inventory of extra decorations in case one is damaged or destroyed so that it can be replaced without delay, including bulbs. D. Be responsible for examining the site(s) prior to submitting a bid. A site map is available upon request. The Bidder will use its personal knowledge and experience or professional knowledge as to the character of the proposed services, and any other conditions surrounding and affecting the proposed services. The Town of Orange Park, hereinafter referred to as the Town, is soliciting bids for outdoor holiday decorations. Submittals: Respondents shall submit their proposal to the Town Clerk's Office at 2042 Park Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073. The Town shall have the right to reject any or all bids in the Town's best interest. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be addressed to Courtney Russo. The Town of Orange Park (Town) is a close-knit and comfortable enclave with Jacksonville at its doorstep. The Town's budget for this project is $91,000. Bidders are encouraged to keep this budget in mind when proposing decorations. The Town reserves the following rights: A. This Contract may be terminated by the Town in accordance with this clause whenever the Town determines that such termination is in the best interest of the Town. Such termination will be affected by a thirty (30) day prior written notice to the Contractor stating the date upon which such termination becomes effective. B. The Town reserves the right to assess charges against the Contractor's monthly invoices for performance issues not addressed in a timely manner. The Town also has the right to address the performance issues utilizing in house or outside resources and charge the Contractor for such services if unresolved after 30 days. C. This Contract is always subject to availability of budgeted funds. Town Council Contract Award May 16, 2023.
