The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting bids for the "Steel Repairs" project at the Kingston-Rhinecliff, Walkway Over the Hudson (WOTH) and Mid-Hudson Bridges. The scope of work at the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge involves rocker bearing realignment. The majority of steel repairs are at the WOTH bridge. This elevated pedestrian park bridge spans the Hudson River between Highland and Poughkeepsie, New York. Steel repairs include installation of new anchor bolts, repair of corroded members with structural steel reinforcing plates and angles, etc, as noted on the contract plans. All work shall include all access, furnishing and installing all material, installing and removing approved "scaffolding and shielding" below the bottom chord at locations shown in the contract drawings. Bid deposit: 25% bid bond or $400,000 certified or bank cashier's check is required to validate the proposer's bid. The apparent low Bidder shall present evidence of experience and financial stability. The Bidder shall comply with the terms of the Notice to Bidders, including Equal Opportunity, M/WBE and SDVOB goals.
