The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for the demolition of mine buildings and related structures at State Game Lands #336 in Shenango Township, Lawrence County. The scope of the project includes demolition of the steel frame storage building, scale house and scale at the site, disposal of the structure remains, disposal of interior items, removal of outdoor items, removal of concrete slabs and utility poles, abandoning the well and stabilizing the disturbed areas at the site. Bidders should visit the site to ascertain the pertinent conditions such as access, site contours, proximity of utilities, structural characteristics of the buildings and vegetation in the work area. The gates at the ends of the road may be locked. Permission is not required to visit the site; however, we recommend contacting Mr. Beale or Mr. Dehass for status of road conditions before going to the site. Attached to the electronic project listing are Terms and Conditions of Project, Conditions for Construction Contracts and Technical Specifications (Sections 1 through 8). Two drawings titled "Mine Buildings Demolition Project" are attached also. These enclosures are part of the bid. All bids must be submitted electronically using the SRM system. A bid guarantee or bond is not required. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder.
