Site work for a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This construction contract is to rehabilitate four existing pipe segments in MMSD's combined sewer system identified as having significant defects or deterioration. These segments include pipes directly upstream of outfalls CSO 091, CSO 098, and CSO 180, and MIS segment 12111. Methods of rehabilitation will vary by location. Contractor will choose between installation of Geopolymer Spray-In-Place Pipe (SIPP) Lining, Spiral Wound Pipe Lining, and Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining when submitting their bids, as noted in the bid documents. Project Owner Number: C98068C01 The District will host a virtual meeting for live vendor engagement and Q&A at 11:00 am on June 24, 2025. All bidders and vendors interested in this contract are encouraged to attend. All attendees must pre-register for this meeting by contacting Nathan Churchill, nchurchill@mmsd.com. Each request will receive a confirmation email with an invite to the virtual meeting. The project contemplated consists of rehabilitation of 4 wastewater conveyance system pipe segments at the following 4 locations: 1. Combined Sewer Overflow CSO 091, Northwest of the intersection of E. Providence Ave. and N. Cambridge Ave., West of the Oak Leaf Trail to the Milwaukee River. 2. Combined Sewer Overflow CSO 098, E Bradford Ave, West of N. Newhall St. to approximately 125 feet E of the Milwaukee River. 3. Combined Sewer Overflow CSO 180, Underneath the S. 35th St bridge, North of W. Pierce St. to the Menomonee River. 4. Metropolitan Interceptor Sewer Pipe Segment 12111, W. Hampton Ave. between N. Sherman Blvd. and N. 40th St responses to questions submitted through July 8, 2025, as per QA.
