Whatcom County Public Works requests bids for the Geneva Bioretention Pilot Project. This project provides for improvements consisting of installing a high performance bioretention facility adjacent to an existing roadway and other work. The improvements include installing a new precast stormwater pretreatment vault, installing an underground detention tank, installing a dosing siphon, retrofitting existing roadside swales with higher performing water quality treatment media, installing new drainage structures, weirs, and piping in the Austin Street Right of Way, pavement and landscape restoration, and other work, as further described in the bid documents. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. Whatcom County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond.
