Removal of HVAC ice tanks system including pre-cast concrete / metal grate ice tank platforms and capping ice tank lines. 1. For Roof Area 2, 5, 7, and 10: Complete removal of existing EPDM roofing system; including related insulation, coverboard, flashings, trim, roof accessories, etc.; Replacement with liquid applied roofing system; including insulation, coverboard, flashings, trim, roof accessories, etc. 2. For Roof Area 1: Ice tank removals; including pre-cast concrete / metal grating ice tank platforms; capping existing lines related to ice tanks. a. For Roof Area 1: Ice tank removals; Include removal and proper disposal of 3,000 gallons of ethylene glycol. Refer to Section 012200 Unit Prices. 3. For Roof Area 4, 8, and 9: Complete removal of existing EPDM and/or Modified Bitumen roofing system for Roof Area 4 and 9, and partial removal of existing EPDM roofing system for Roof Area 8; including related insulation, coverboard, flashings, trim, roof accessories, etc.; Replacement/restoration with liquid applied roofing system; including insulation, coverboard, flashings, trim, roof accessories, etc. Mail the sealed proposals to Room 10, City Hall, Buffalo, New York, 14202 with ATTN to the Commissioner of Public Works, Parks and Streets. Bidders should allow for delivery before the bid opening (highly encouraged to schedule for delivery on or prior to Tuesday, April 25, 2023). It is also highly encouraged that bidders track delivery of their mailed proposals and use appropriate priority mail as necessary.
