This work consists of providing two (2) cycles pre-scheduled Roadside Litter Pickup in 2023 along US 40, East and West, MP 1.16 to MP 9.19 in Cecil County. Please note that distances are four times (4X) highway length to account for both shoulders and both sides of the median. The approximate start time is June with a crew of four (4). Provide your own truck. Bids are lump sum for an entire cycle times two (2). Contractor shall provide the administration a total number of full litter bags collected and disposed of daily. This shall be kept in a logbook and provided to the administration as needed. Work activities include removal of trash, litter, and debris including debris, organic debris, bottles, cans, cardboard, paper, tires, metal, etc. Includes the removal and clearing of debris from inlet grates along the shoulder. No animal carcasses will be the responsibility of the contractor. This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which award will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors.
