Demolition and site work for a residential development in Kissimmee, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Prospective construction Contractors must complete a qualifications questionnaire. City staff will review this questionnaire and proposals will be requested from Contractors with sufficient qualifications and experience conducting similar work. The City anticipates the rehabilitation/demolition and reconstruction of approximately twenty (20) homes and roof replacement for up to ten (10) additional properties. The projects will be funded with CDBG, HOME, and/or SHIP funds. Contractor will be responsible for coordinating all the necessary permits, repairs, and inspections. Each property can obtain up to $25,000 in assistance. Additional Requirements: The projects must comply with all codes, standards, regulations, and workers' safety rules that are administered by federal and state agencies and any other local regulations and standards (i.e. building codes) that may apply. The City of Kissimmee reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids/proposals, with or without cause, to waive technicalities or to accept the bid/proposal which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the City of Kissimmee.
