The purpose and intent of this Invitation To Bid is to secure firm prices and establish a term contract for Stage Rigging and Stationary or Portable Lighting Equipment Inspection, Repairs and Maintenance for auditoriums, cafetorium's, theaters, orchestra pits (where available), CCTV studios, Blackbox theaters and stationary or portable lighting equipment as specified herein. This contract is to include a hands-on inspection of all equipment and include a safety inspection, complete with written reports, photographs, as required, and a plan for preventative maintenance program as well as repairs as needed. The inspection report shall be based on the repairs that are required for that particular school in order to bring the school into compliance and address safety issues. The bidder will be required to provide a single fixed cost for the inspections per type of school, i.e., elementary, middle, high and performing arts schools. Pricing for OEM repair parts will be based on a single fixed percentage Discount off List Price. Pricing for stage curtains will be based on a cost plus a percentage mark-up.
