Question Deadline 04/21/2025 at 10:00 AM ET The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans. The major items for construction include, but are not limited to: 1. Design and Construction of a Design-Build-Operate Wastewater Treatment System for the effluent at the Resource Recovery Complex. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Select demolition on site and within existing County building as per the plan details and as required by the bidder to install the necessary treatment equipment. b. Installation of new tankage, pumping equipment, valves, piping, electrical, instrumentation, chemical feed equipment and accessories to meet the System Design Effluent Parameters and as required by the bidder to install the necessary effluent treatment equipment. c. A service agreement with the Contractor to provide operation services in accordance with the terms included in the specifications. d. The Contractor is responsible to provide licensed operations with a minimum classification of N2 throughout the operations and as required within the service agreement. e. The County has been in the process of renewal/modification of the NJPDES permit for the operation of a new wastewater treatment system at the Resource Recovery Complex and to increase the permitted discharge flow from 0.07 mgd to 0.13 mgd. A copy of the final NJPDES permit will be issued to the Contractor upon receipt by the County.
