FY 2022 Municipal Aid Program - Improvements to Riverbank Drive, McNeal Street, &Taylor Avenue The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the City of Burlington, and must be accompanied by Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the City of Burlington for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid. Checks shall be made payable to the ALAIMO GROUP. All contractors must utilize skilled workers who have successfully completed an apprenticeship program or other craft training program certified by the Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training. Proof of worker's course completion must be provided prior to beginning work. As a condition of performing work on Public Works Contracts, the General Contractor shall provide certification that he and each subcontractor when performing work on the project shall have on-site and at least one employee who has successfully completed an OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety and Health course. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of City of Burlington is the lowest responsible bidder and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
