Firms do not need to be present and may mail or deliver proposal packages to the attention of Jerome Sheehan, Director of Solid Waste at the above address prior to the date and time above. Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the proposer and the name of the RFP clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. The County assumes no responsibility for delays in delivery that result in proposals being delivered later than the submission deadline. All RFP addenda shall be published on the Department of Solid Waste website no later than seven days, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted, prior to the date for acceptance of proposals. All interested respondents should check the website from now through the deadline for submissions. It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to the RFP. The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Burlington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses submitted in the best interest of the County. The County further reserves the right to waive any defect or informality in any proposal should it be in the best interest of the County. Responders to the RFP are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The RFP does not constitute a contract, and it is intended solely to obtain competitive responses. The County intends to award any contract for services pursuant to all applicable statutes and or regulations. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
