Site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Saint Paul, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes construction of a replacement well, rehabilitation of the existing water treatment building and replacement of certain SCADA system components. DIVISION I - NEW WATER SUPPLY WELL, WATER TREATMENT PLANT MODIFICATIONS & SCADA The Project includes construction of a replacement well, rehabilitation of the existing water treatment building and replacement of certain SCADA system components. DIVISION II - WATER METER REPLACEMENT The Project includes replacement of approximately 391 residential water meters. Contractor shall provide and install new water meter, encoder and endpoint for complete replacement of existing equipment. This project shall include water meter reading equipment and software with billing system integration and training. This project additionally includes replacement of scattered water main valves and hydrants in the St. Paul water distribution system. DIVISION III - WATER STORAGE TANK REHABILITATION The Project includes complete interior and exterior paint coatings for the existing 100,000 gallon elevated water storage tank. This project also includes demolition of St. Paul's existing 60,000 gallon elevated water storage tank. The contract work provides for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment as required Construction of a new Well No. 3, blasting and painting of the iron removal unit exterior, piping, pumps, valve & fittings, chlorine analyzer, insulation of the iron removal unit in the attic space, removal, and replacement of the entire ceiling in the pump room along with new attic insulation. Project also includes replacement of light fixtures in the pump room, replacement of the iron removal control panel with a new SCADA panel at the WTP and water storage tank. SCADA shall control the start and stop of wells, iron removal unit blower, and start and stop of high service pumps based on the elevated water storage tank level. Components also include site piping, site improvements, electrical as necessary for a complete and operational facility
