Renovation of a mixed-use development in Highland Heights, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 45,722-square-foot, four-story above grade educational facility.

The scope of the project shall include the following items: Fine Arts Renovations: The scope of work consists of renovation and remediation work to the 160,000 square foot, four story Fine Arts Center constructed in 1977. The renovation work focuses on the modernization of the HVAC system and the Fire Alarm system throughout the building. The remediation work focuses on addressing the floor heaving in the first-floor slab on grade due to the presence of expansive shale. Reconstruction of spaces is necessary to accommodate the remediation work as well as additional programmatic needs of the building. Ceiling replacement is necessary throughout the building to accommodate the HVAC renovation and upgrades. Nunn Hall Renovation: The scope of work consists of renovation and remediation work to the 113,000 square foot, five story Nunn Hall constructed in 1972. The renovation work focuses on the modernization of the HVAC system and the replacement of the public restrooms and associated plumbing piping throughout the building. The remediation work focuses on addressing the floor heaving in the first-floor slab on grade due to the presence of expansive shale. Reconstruction of spaces is necessary to accommodate the remediation work as well as additional programmatic needs of the building. Ceiling replacement is necessary throughout the building to accommodate the HVAC renovation and upgrades.
