Site work and paving for a road / highway in Littleton, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Littleton is seeking statements of interest and qualifications from qualified consultants to redesign the intersections of Broadway at Littleton Boulevard, and Broadway at Mineral Avenue. Funding for this project has been secured through the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) so the proposed design must increase safety for travelers of all modes. The selected team will be expected to analyze each intersection and design appropriate solutions for each location. The selected team will be required to design solutions that incorporate recommendations from the City's Transportation Master Plan and should consider DRCOG's 2040 travel demand model and the Intersection Engineering Study completed for these intersections in 2020. Ultimately improving the user safety for all modes at both intersections is paramount; however, the successful consultant team will create solutions that also include operational improvements.
