The Work is generally described as follows: Sportsman Park Project, Village of Mattoon, Shawano County, Wisconsin. o Removals: Excavation common, landscaping, shoreline rip-rap, existing gravel parking lot and clearing and grubbing. o Erosion Control: Erosion mat, turbidity barrier, silt fence, sediment logs, and articulating concrete block. o Site Improvements: asphalt sidewalk improvements, asphalt parking lot paving, crushed Aggregate Basecourse, reinforced concrete pipe and shoreline restoration, o Site and Turf Restoration: Site and turf restoration. General site clean-up and amenities installed. The anticipated substantial completion date is September 01, 2023 and final completion date is October 06, 2023. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages.
