Renovation of a municipal facility in Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

This project consists of replacing approximately 3,200 SF of existing metal roof and roof structure. The existing metal roof, plywood, insulation, wood structure and rafters shall be removed in their entirety. The Contractor shall provide and install new steel beams, 2x12 wood joists at 16"OC with new 3/4" APA rated T&G plywood roof deck. The Contractor shall provide and install a new fully adhered EPDM membrane over 1\2" polyiso cover board on 2 layers of 2 1\2" rigid roof insulation on new vapor barrier over the new plywood roof deck. The existing 2-story section of the building is not in the contract. The existing vinyl siding on the 2-story section along new roof construction will need to be removed and a new membrane roof flashing and counter flashing will need to be installed.
