Cloud County Community College (CCCC) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) soliciting proposals from qualified firms to renovate two buildings (8 apartments) at TBird Village on the Concordia campus. These buildings are free of asbestos. We will require the contractor to list Cloud County Community College as additionally insured on their insurance policy. In addition, the insurance required shall be written for not less than the following, or greater if required by federal, state, or other laws. - Workman's Compensation as required by all applicable federal and state laws including Employers Liability with a limit of $1,000,0000.00/$500,000.00/$100,000.00 minimum. - Comprehensive General Liability- Bodily injury at $1,000,000.00, Property Damage at $1,000,000.00, Personal Injury at $1,000,000.00. - Umbrella Excess Liability- Over the primary insurance at $1,000,000.00 and retention at $10,000.00. Automobile Liability-for owned and non-owned & hired. Bodily Injury at $500,000.00 and property Damage at $500,000.00. The certificate of insurance shall be provided to the Owner and Contractor with the specific provisions listed. The certificate shall contain provisions for notification of the Owner and Contractor (10) days prior to the cancellation or expiration of the policies, and shall be signed by the insurance agent of the insurance carrier. Builders Risk Insurance policy is required for this project and the contractor shall carry the insurance for the duration of the contract. F. The contractor will provide a safe working environment. Deadline for receipt of written questions and requests for addenda April 12, 2023. Written proposals must be received by CCCC at its office address listed in paragraph A of this section by 2:00 pm, Central Time, April 19, 2023. Will need to be master keyed to college master and apartment keys. - Install college approved River Run - Sahara or equivalent kitchen cabinetry in all 8 apartments (see kitchen specs below) - Install college provided backsplash in all 8 kitchens. - Install outlet and college provided over-the-range microwave with vent fan. - Install college approved Wilsonart - Black Alicante Premium Laminate countertops and hardware in kitchens and bathrooms. - Install college approved River Run - Onyx 54" double sink vanity in all 8 apartments. - Replace college approved American Standard or equivalent bathroom fixtures. - Install college provided mirror in bathrooms. - Install college approved Onyx - Cappuchino or equivalent shower stall in all bathrooms.
