Renovation of a mixed-use development in Modesto, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and elderly care / assisted living facility.
Notice is hereby given that the Governing Board of Modesto City Schools ("District") will receive bids for public works project (Lakewood Elementary School and Robertson Road Elementary School and Child Development Center), in the District's Purchasing Office. The pre-bid job walk must be attended by a Principal of the company proposing to submit a bid or an employee of the company who is a Construction Superintendent or a Project Manager. You must attend and sign-in at both mandatory pre-bid job walks. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor Commissioner. Copies of all collective bargaining agreements relating to the work are on file and available for inspection in the office of the California Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Statistics and Research, 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA, 94102. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. A valid C33 contractor's license will be required. Questions received less than SEVEN (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening bids All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed via email to the District to Roger Orth.
