The purpose of this Quick Quote is to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to sandblast, prime and paint the three (3) towers of the chairlift at Natural Tunnel State Park. The chairlift towers at Natural Tunnel State Park range in size from 20-40 foot tall and are located down the hillside, roughly 200-300 feet apart. Contractor must coordinate work dates with the park. The project must be completed NO LATER THAN May 17, 2023, to prevent disruption of park operations. Any deviation from this schedule must be approved in advance by the park. All services shall be performed, unless mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the Park Representative, during normal business hours, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except for State & Federal Holidays.. Successful contractor must provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary to complete the project, including: o Remove existing paint, dirt, and surface contaminants by sandblasting or equivalent process. (Process must be approved by park contact) o Prime and paint with specified paint or agency approved equivalent. o Use of the lift may be coordinated with the park to get supplies down to the lower tower depending on size and weight. o All debris and trash related to the project will be removed when job is complete. o Attached are pictures of the towers for reference purposes. o A spec sheet for the required paint or equivalent to be used is attached.
