Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Louis, Missouri. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified firms interested in contracting with the Board of Education to provide a design-build approach to remove and replace boilers Districtwide. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the school district, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid shall accompany the if awarded the Contract, will furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bond; execute the Contract; and proceed with the work. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit or amount of the Bid Bond as liquidated damages, and no mistakes or errors on the part of the Bidder shall excuse the Bidder or entitle him to a return of the deposit or Bid Bond. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals (as hereinafter defined) and to waive any irregularities.
