Site work and paving for a civil project in Palmer, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is requesting bids from qualified contractors to supply labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to improve approximately 4,720 linear feet of Doc McKinley Avenue and 1,035 linear feet of Jessie Jo Place. The project will upgrade the existing unpaved road to MSB residential standards and pave. This project will involve, but is not limited to, clearing, grubbing, 7,300 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation, 18,800 tons of Borrow, Type B, 10,700 tons of Borrow, Type IIA, 2,450 tons of Aggregate Base Course, Grading D-1, 2,050 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt, Type II; Class B, installing drainage culverts and relocating existing signs.
