Rehabilitation of 2 groundwater wells which includes cleaning and replacement of pumps and motors. The Project consists of video inspections of the wells, cleaning of wells by chemical and mechanical means, repair and/or replacement of the pumps and motors, and miscellaneous wellhead and piping improvements. Static water level at 320' This Section describes the project in general and provides an overview of the extent of the work to be performed. Detailed requirements and extent of work are stated in the applicable Specification sections and/or shown on the Drawings. The Contractor shall, except as otherwise specifically stated herein or in any applicable parts of these Contract Documents, provide and pay for all labor, materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment, and other facilities and services necessary for proper execution, testing, and completion of the Work. B. Any part or item of the work which is reasonably implied or normally required to make each installation satisfactorily and completely operable shall be performed by the Contractor and the expense thereof included in the applicable price bid for the item. All miscellaneous appurtenances and other items of work that are incidental to meeting the intent of the plans and these Specifications, are considered to be included in the applicable price bid for this project, even though these appurtenances and items may not be specifically called for in the Specifications or shown on the Drawings. C. Comply with all applicable state and local codes and regulations pertaining to the nature and character of the work being performed. D. The Project is located in the Kilgore Wellfield in eastern Smith County. E. Hazardous material abatement is not anticipated in the scope of work of this project.
