Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Decorah, Iowa. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Milling and pavement removals, hot mix asphalt overlay and paving, curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, retaining wall, steps, and temporary traffic control. Center Street from High Street to Pool Street; James Court; Broadway Street from Winnebago Street to Court Street; Day Street from East Pearl Street to East Broadway Street; Pleasant Avenue from Day Street to 918 Pleasant Avenue; and the intersection of Montgomery Street and Highway 9; all in the City of Decorah, Winneshiek County, Iowa. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Make bids on all items of Work. One contract will be awarded. The Contractor may begin construction upon execution of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) with a Substantial Completion date of October 13, 2023, as shown in the NTP. Final payment will be made upon final acceptance of the Work.. Submit a Bid Bond with each Bid in accordance with the Bidding Documents. The Bid Bond will be a certified or cashier's check payable to the Owner, drawn on a solvent Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, or a Bid Bond executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a Surety in the State of Iowa, in the penal sum of five percent (5%) of the Bid.
