Site work for an educational facility in Decorah, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
This project consists of installing a new artificial turf surface in an existing green space between Carrie Lee Elementary School and the existing Middle School. Scope of work includes the partial demolition and infilling of an existing manhole structure. Some minor concrete paving removal and replacement along with new curbing as needed for the artificial turf anchorage. A new subsurface drainage and collection system is to be installed beneath the proposed artificial turf area and will be tied into an adjacent existing storm water structure. Project Cost: Construction cost is anticipated to be under Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00). Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in an amount not less than five percent ( 5% ) of the bid amount. Bid security shall be in a separate envelope in the form of a bid bond, a certified check, or a cashier's check payable to Decorah Community School District. If a bid bond is used for security, it must be signed by both the bidder and the surety Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses to bidders' questions by addendum if received by May 30, 2023. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond within ten (10) days after award in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
