Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
As of May 25, 2023, the project has been awarded however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The project consists of removing the existing roofs on the Main Barn, ARMCO Building, ARMCO Building Addition, and Fattening Barn inside Suson County Park and replacing with new metal roofs meeting the requirements and standards listed below. Project coordination, preliminary site investigation, submittal requirements, general administrative duties, scheduling and product shipping and handling are considered incidental to the contract and no direct payment will be made for this work. Additional work items considered incidental to the construction include: any additional traffic control necessary to meet MUTCD standards, temporary access, utility adjustments, and construction site clean-up. Question Deadline 05/08/2023 at 11:00 AM CT The period of performance will be 90 calendar days from notice to proceed to substantial completion All workmanship and materials are to be of first quality. No compensation will be allowed for work found to be defective due to the fault of the contractor or its subcontractors. If contractor fails to correct the defect the county may have the defects remedied and charge the cost against any monies due the contractor without prejudice to any other rights or remedies of the county. All required contractor licenses must remain current during the term of the contract. The contractor will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of $85000 which will remain in effect during the entire life of the contract.
