Renovation of a fire / police facility in Monroe, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

INTRODUCTION The Town of Monroe is planning to contractor with a Roofing Contractor to provide contracting services per the Bid Documents set forth. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of, but is not limited to, the following: A. Removal of existing and installation of new SBS Cold-Applied Modified Bituminous Roof assemblies, roof drains, curbs, metal gutters and downspouts, and roof accessories. B. Removal of existing and installation of new Standing Seam Metal Roof Assembly including gutters, downspouts and snow guards, and connected Standing Seam Metal Wall Panels. C. Removal of designated existing unit skylights and installation of new unit skylights. D. Off-site disposal of all removed materialsProposals shall contain the following information, without limitation: o Cover / introductory letter o Size, history and organizational structure of firm (Limit to 1 page) o Resume of key personnel that would work on the study. (Limit to 1 page per resume) o Approach to the Work: o A narrative relating to your general approach to this Work. o Describe additional tasks that could be valuable to the Work. o Provide a description of similar projects performed by the firm that incorporated elements of the scope of Work. o Provide client references for such projects. o List of subcontractors that will be utilized for the Work, including resumes of subcontractor project personnel. o Any Additional information or materials that you believe communicate the capabilities of your firm to perform the Work. o Anticipated schedule and milestones. o Fees for your services. The Town requires that a maximum fee for the service be provided in response to this RFP but will additionally consider alternative fee structures. o If your firm has been a party to arbitration, mediation, or litigation involving (a) any matter with the Town of Monroe or (b) with any other party regarding a similar project, state the identity of the customer, the nature of the proceedings, when and where the proceedings occurred, and any official file number or other identifier. Also state a summary of the issues and the results of the proceedings. o The Bidder must disclose in writing any exceptions to the RFP and their proposal shall have no exceptions to this requirement. The exceptions to the RFP shall include, but not be limited Questions concerning the process,procedures and specifications applicable to this RFP are to be submitted only in writing (including by e-mail) and directed only to:Name: Chris Nowacki Department: Department of Public Works E-mail: cnowacki@monroect.gov Bidders are prohibited from contacting any other Town employee, officer or official concerning this RFP.
