Counties: Turnpike Road Name: Bridge Maintenance - Zone 1 Limits: Midpoint Federal Aid No: N/a Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/a Aquis/flexible Start Time: 14 The work specified in this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to perform routine and priority repairs on bridges and miscellaneous structures such as the repair or replacement of expansion joints, concrete headers, concrete parapets, crack injection and sealing, concrete spalls, rip rap, aluminum handrail, concrete slope pavement and other miscellaneous concrete repairs, at various locations along the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (SR 821), Milepost (MP) 0.0 to 47.0; Florida's Turnpike (SR 91) MP 0x to 100.0; and the Sawgrass Expressway MP 0.0 to 21.8. CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE DOCUMENTATION: Expertise and Experience is required in the performance of Bridge Repair. The Experience in Bridge Repair Form (850-070-04) must be filled out and submitted with the bid to be reviewed by the Department. No Pre-bid Conference Will Be Held for This Project. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
