Piggyback Solicitation: No Insurance Required: Yes Bid Bond Required: Yes Bid Bond Amount: 5% Performance Bond Required: Yes Catwalk and Guardrail Modifications around Stationary Generator Question End Date: 4/28/2023 12:00 PM Vendors with questions pertaining to this bid specification must submit them in writing via email to purchasing(C)keysenerqy.com This is a turnkey project to fabricate and install an extension of the current catwalk and replace/reposition/install railings around a stationary generator located outside of the Ralph Garcia Steam Plant, 6900 Front Street Extended, Key West, FL 33040. The catwalk extension shall mimic current catwalk material and design according to the Ralph Garcia Steam Plan Generator Foundation Plan, attached herein. Decking is approximately 2' wide. Lengths are approximately 6' along the east side, 23' along the south side, and 8'6" along the west side. The north side is already equipped with decking and stairs. There is railing on the stationary generator's concrete pad that will need to be removed by Contractor. The railing can be repurposed to provide fall protection along the new catwalk. Additional railing will be needed. Total railing length is approximately 40'. This project shall include all costs for drawings, materials and/or fabrication, installation, labor, equipment and all other work and miscellaneous expenses necessary to fully and timely complete all portions of the Project.
