Site work for a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project contemplated consists of an overhaul of one existing scum concentrator located on the fourth floor of the Preliminary Treatment Facility (Building 203) of the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility (JIWRF). The Bid consists of the following work in general: o Remove the existing drive motor, speed reducer, variable speed unit, all sprockets, chains, shafts, bearings, bushings, hubs, collars, and flights from the scum concentrator unit. o Steam clean, blast clean, and epoxy coat the interior of the scum concentrator decant tank. o Furnish and install new drive motor, speed reducer, variable speed unit, sprockets, chains, shafts, bearings, bushings, hubs, collars, and flights on the scum concentrator unit as specified. o Remove and replace effluent weir gate shaft as specified. o Balance and align the drive system as installed under normal operating conditions. o Complete 7-day test run.
