Questions Due Date: Apr 24th 2023, 12:00 PM EDT The Cypress Lake Project is located in the vicinity of Lake Cypress Road in Kenansville, Florida. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to preconstruction, permitting, construction, testing, and startup of a regional water treatment plant, raw water production and concentrate disposal wells, raw water mains and other appurtenances as required for a functional facility. The following generally describes the facilities included in Phase 1 of this project. Raw Water Wells and Conveyance - Construction and installation of raw water pumps, associated well-head piping, and ancillary instrumentation and equipment for Lower Floridan aquifer production wells and raw water transmission mains. Future raw water production wells may be drilled under a separate contract, or may be included in the CMAR contract. Water Treatment Plant - The water treatment plant includes but is not limited to treatment, storage and pumping facilities constructed on a greenfield site. Phase 1 of the RO process will be designed to produce up to 15+ MGD of finished water in incremental phases. Treatment includes pretreatment, RO process, post treatment. Treatment and pumping and storage facilities are described below: - Pretreatment - The pretreatment processes will include chemical and physical pretreatment and other necessary appurtenances. - RO Process - The RO process will include RO feed pumps, RO treatment skids, the RO membrane clean-in-place system, and other necessary appurtenances. - Post Treatment - Post treatment processes will include chemical storage and pumping, degasification, disinfection, post-treatment stabilization, and other necessary appurtenances. - Finished Water Pumping and Storage - Finished water pumping and storage will include transfer pumping, prestressed concrete ground storage tanks, high service pumping, finished water transmission mains, and other necessary appurtenances. Off-site water transmission mains may be constructed under a separate contract, or may be included in the CMAR contract. Concentrate Storage and Pumping - Concentrate storage and pumping will include concentrate conveyance pumping, concentrate storage, concentrate booster pumps, piping, ancillary equipment at the concentrate disposal injection wells, and conveyance piping from the WTP to the injection wells. Future injection wells may be drilled under a separate contract, or may be included in the CMAR contract. In addition to the facilities described above the project will include structures to house equipment as appropriate, civil site improvements, stormwater improvements, electrical equipment, emergency power generators, and other appurtenances as necessary for a fully functional facility.
