The Project includes furnishing/constructing/installing a Gateway Monument Sign including concrete footing, solar powered LED flood lighting, perimeter landscaping, and ancillary items shown in the Project Documents Book, Construction Plans, Technical Specifications, and Bid Forms. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, shall be submitted with the bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Lorena Economic Development Corporation or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. A Performance Bond for 100% of the contract price and a Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful Bidder for this Contract within ten (10) days of notification of Contract Award. A 2-year Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract price shall be required at the satisfactory completion of the Contract. Lorena Economic Development Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by Lorena Economic Development Corporation for a period not to exceed 75 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to a contract award.
