Scope of work for bidding purposes for the removal and replacement of the existing track surfaces within the Tempe Union High School District. The proposals requested by the District by qualified all-weather track contractors is for six (6) High Schools within the District. The High schools are the following: McClintock High School, Corona Del Sol High School, Marcos De Niza High School, Tempe High School, Mountain Pointe High School and Desert Vista High School. Project schedule will consist of the following. McClintock High School will be first site to be resurfaced with a start date beginning May 2023 with completion no later than July 10, 2023. The remaining five (5) sites start dates are June 03, 2023 in the following order Corona Del Sol, Marcos De Niza, Tempe High, Mountain Pointe, and Desert Vista. The completion of the remaining five (5) schools is no later than March 1, 2024. The awarded Contractor must supply payment and performance bonding. Liquidated damages in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) will be billed to the awarded Contractor every day past the listed completion date per finalized contract documents. Questions Due Date: Apr 28th 2023, 5:00 PM MST SITE WALK-THRU: Immediately following the pre-bid conference, all bidders will be invited to participate in a site walk-thru to carefully examine the entire site of the project and to make all necessary investigations to inform themselves thoroughly as to the facilities available as well as to all the difficulties involved in the completion of all work in accordance with the Scope of Work attached hereto.
