South Jordan City is soliciting proposals from qualified consultant firms to develop a 20-year Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The purpose of this plan is to guide future decisions for parks, recreation, arts, trails, and open space for the City. The Master Plan will provide an inclusive framework for orderly and consistent planning, acquisition, development, and administration of the parks and recreation resources, programs, and city facilities. A more detailed scope of work is contained in Section 3 of the RFP. The Consultant must meet these minimum qualifications; otherwise, the proposal will be rejected and will not be evaluated. Sufficient resources to complete the assigned tasks within the time frame established in this solicitation or otherwise agreed upon. At least five years experience in Parks, Recreation, Arts, Trails and Open Space Master Plan Consulting Services; Completed a minimum of five Parks Master Plans. Proposal should describe them in detail and provided examples of each, with at least one similar in scope and size as requested in this RFP, and provide a copy or link to this full master plan. The City does not provide Bidders lists or Planholders lists. The City reserves the right to award this bid in full or in part. All inquiries and responses must be made online via Electronically. No paper bids will be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any Bid if the City believes that it would not be in the best interest of the project or the City. Without limitation, such rejection may be because the Bid is not responsive, or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful ability or the Bid or Bidder fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the City, as solely determined by City Question Submission Close Date 5/1/2023 12:00 PM MDT
