Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in South Jordan, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The City of South Jordan seeks PROPOSALS from experienced and qualified Contractors to provide Asphalt Overlay construction for the City's 2023 Overlay projects. Each construction season the city does regular maintenance of the roadways, and a portion of that maintenance is to mill and overlay asphalt street sections, trails, and parking lots. The city uses a 1.5" edge mill and 2" overlay of PG58-28 asphalt mix for its residential streets, trails, and most parking lot applications. The collector streets and arterials receive a 2" mill and 3" overlay of PG64-34 Super Pave mix, the UDOT super pave mix. The city is looking for a contractor that can provide excellent materials and work for our overlay projects for this coming year. The Work locations are outlined on the attached maps and include, 9800 S (Skye Dr), Beckstead Lane, and 10760 South. The work Includes a 2" Mill and 2" Overlay PG 64-34 UDOT Spec Superpave Mix encompassing 416,700 square feet, Overlay areas as outlined on reference plan maps will follow specified standards and generally include, but are not limited to 2" Full Width Milling, Delivery, Placement, and Compaction of 2" Superpave Asphalt Overlay; Raise Monuments, Valves, and Sewer and Manhole Lids to Grade; Replace Existing Striping; and any other Materials and Labor necessary to complete the job based on construction plans. All other streets, and the Gale Center parking lot encompassing 605,600 square feet outlined on reference maps, will follow specified standards and generally include but are not limited to Tree Trimming; 1.5" Edge Milling; Delivery and Placement of Standard Paving Reinforcement Fabric according to Manufacturers and APWA Specifications; Delivery, Placement and Compaction of 2" PG58-28 (as per city specification 15% RAP max and APWA mix design standards) Asphalt Overlay; Raise Monuments, Valves, and Sewer and Manhole Lids to Grade; Replace Existing Striping; and any other Materials and Labor necessary to complete the job based on construction plans. The work on 9800 South will need to take place between Sept 1st and October 1st 2023, as another project taking place on this street will not be completed until late August 2023.
