The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD), hereinafter referred to as the District, is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio under Chapter 6119 of the Ohio Revised Code. The District owns the George J. McMonagle (GJM) Administration Building, the Environmental and Maintenance Services Center (EMSC) and the Fleet Services Building. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit a proposal from qualified services providers to perform janitorial services at each of these District facilities. These services include, but are not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, cleaning and sanitation of surfaces, fixtures, and appliances, refilling of supply dispensers and removal of trash from waste baskets. The floor work will require machine scrubbers. Firms seeking consideration for performance of Janitorial Services at the GJM, EMSC, and Fleet Services District sites must submit an RFP. Any questions or requests for clarification related to this RFP should be submitted in writing to Tabitha Perry, Asst. Manager of Facilities and Administrative Support at perryt@neorsd.org Questions related to the RFP will be answered through noon (12:00 p.m.) on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023. The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District's GJM Administration Building is located at 3900 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115 and consists of four (4) floors and a partial basement, equaling approximately 80,000 square feet. This location houses approximately 250 employees. The Environmental and Maintenance Services Center (EMSC) is located at 4747 East 49th Street, Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio 44125. The facility has two (2) floors, and a basement. The second floor is a partial floor. The facility consists of approximately 128,000 total square feet of office, garage, and laboratory space. Of this total, there is approximately 55,000 square feet of office space, 9,600 square feet of laboratory space and 4,500 square feet of conference room. This location houses approximately 200 employees. The Fleet Services Building sits adjacent to the EMSC building on the same property. The Fleet Services building is considered part of the EMSC facility. This facility has approximately 2,000 square feet of offices and restrooms and houses approximately ten (10) employees. The duration of the requirement contract awarded following an evaluation of the proposals received is for a two (2) year period or until the funds appropriated to this contract are exhausted, whichever should occur first from the effective date of the contract.
