The existing City-owned traffic signals along the 76th St/77th St corridor will be reaching the ends of their expected life-cycles between 2025 and 2035. The signals will need to be replaced with new signal systems or alternative traffic control measures. The estimated total cost of signal replacements is $3.1M, with the first signal being replaced no earlier than 2025 This project is included in the city's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of October 3, 2024, project is funded for FY2025-2028. per owner, work has not started yet and there is no update on when it will in 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
