Project Description : The scope of work includes s membrane tear off and roof replacement on the Reynolds Building upper roofs, dormers, and built-in gutters. The upper roof area is approximately 18,700 sq ft., there are 61 small dormer roofs that are approximately 2,000 sq.ft., and the built-in gutters are approximately 6,700 sq.ft. The existing roof to be torn off is a mechanically fastened EPDM on a slope plywood sheathing deck. The new roofing will be fully adhered EPDM roof membrane. All associated fascias will be removed and replaced with new prefinished metal trim. Dormers and gutters will include new perimeter flashings and terminations. work includes replacing areas of damaged wood sheating on roofs and in gutters at IMHI Independence Mental Health Institute, 2277 Iowa Ave., Independence, Iowa 50644. The lowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for the membrane tear off and roof replacement on the Reynolds Building upper roofs, dormers, and built-in gutters at Independence Mental Health Institute (IMHI), Independence, lowa 50644.
