The Anabel Woodbury Water Improvement Project consists of constructing new 8 and 12-inch PVC pipe to replace undersized 6-inch AC water mains and improve fire flows. Pipeline will be installed along Woodbury Road, Anabel Ave. Libby Ln. and Phyllis Pl. The water improvements consist of approximately 970 feet of 12-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and 3,140 feet of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) domestic water pipe. It also includes the construction of ten (10) fire hydrant assemblies and eighty two (82) water service connections. The entire project will also require reconstruction of street cross gutters, removal and abandonment of the existing water lines and valves, trenching, shoring, backfilling, compaction, dewatering, maintaining existing water services during construction, reconstructing and reconnecting of water and fire service connections, pipe disinfection and testing, traffic control, asphalt repair and replacement, traffic restriping, and installation of raised pavement markers and appurtenant work. The Engineer's estimate on this project is $1,630,850 dollars. The construction schedule will be dependent on the project start date and Woodbury Elementary School year calendar.
